Stakeholder dialogue on Copyright - 16 March 2016

The DTI and the Mandela Institute hosted a stakeholder dialogue on Copyright on 16 March 2016. The DTI received 120 written submissions on the Copyright amendment Bill. After the consolidation of inputs received, the department intends tabling the revised Bill in cabinet by May ‘16. There are currently no clear timelines on when the Bill will be passed into law.
