The ACB was founded in 1994 to provide a networking and communication forum for Christians in broadcasting. It currently has about 70 members.

Coverage Area:
The constituency of the ACB is the region of Southern Africa including Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
