ICASA’s draft Broadcast Frequency Plan available
The frequency plan is important for both existing broadcasters and potential broadcasters not yet on air. For new broadcasters, the plan needs to be sufficiently flexible to allow them space while existing broadcasters must ensure that their coverage areas are not negatively affected by additional frequency allocations.
Broadcasters, signal distributors and other interested parties have until 30 July to make their comments on the plan.
