ITA for sound broadcasting services in secondary markets

The Authority has published on 02 February, an invitation to interested parties to apply for commercial free to air sound broadcasting services in secondary markets. The identified markets are in the Northern Cape, the Free State as well as the Eastern Cape.The affected areas and advertised frequencies are as follows:

Northern Cape:
Upington – 95.4 MHz
Kimberly- 93.5 MHz

Freestate:
Bloemfontein- 105.2 MHz and 101.6 MHz

Eastern Cape:
Umtata – 94.3 MHz
Butterworth- 95.2MHz

The closing date for applications in 27 June 2012.
