NAB Conveys Condolences on the Passing of Dr. Natalie Skeepers

The NAB extends its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of MDDA Board Member, Dr. Natalie Skeepers, who sadly passed away on 15 December 2025.

Dr. Skeepers was a Governance, Risk and Compliance Specialist and Safety Engineer, who held a PhD in Engineering Management from the University of Johannesburg. She also held an MSc in Health and Safety as well as an MPhil in HIV/AIDS Management.

Dr. Skeepers was recognised for her work in training & development, having run several training courses in subjects including strategic planning, leadership and management. She had been appointed to the MDDA Board on 26 November 2025 following a recommendation by the National Assembly, and in accordance with Section 4(5) of the MDDA Act. Her untimely passing is indeed a huge loss to the sector.

May the family of Dr. Skeepers find comfort during this difficult time, and may she rest in eternal peace.
