NAB strategic priorities for 2001
Representing all but one of the commercial operators and the SABC, the NAB
are in a position of strength this year. However, we are still seen to lack credibility in some quarters.
For this reason, the NAB strategic priorities for the year focus on four key areas:
Improving the image and credibility of the NAB
Operational excellence
Focusing on membership
Forging local and international partners.
- These strategies are aimed at turning perceptions of the NAB around. The need for this turnaround comes at a time when the broadcasting industry faces a number of challenges. All these factors could have a significant financial impact on broadcasters and will demand effective lobbying by the NAB.
