NATIONAL CONVERGENCE POLICY COLLOQUIUM AND CONVERGENCE BILL

On 28 July 2003 the office of the Minister of Communications issued a press release confirming that the committee as elected at the Colloquium had handed over the Final Report of the National Convergence Policy Colloquium to the Minister. The press release further stated that a draft working document had been issued to the Drafting Committee who will meet according to an agreed schedule until a final document is presented to the Minister. This is seen as part of the preparations for the final Convergence Bill.
