Media Statement: National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) releases its first ‘State of the Broadcasting Industry Report’

The NAB developed its first “State of the Broadcasting Industry Report” (the Report) with research contributor, PwC. A total of fifty five NAB members were surveyed and these members include public, commercial and community radio and television broadcasters, as well as signal distributors. The Report provides an overview of the contributions made by broadcasters in the socio-economic development of South Africa and over time it could develop into a critical resource through which the progress of the broadcasting sector can be tracked.
