We are deeply saddened to hear of the untimely passing of Botlenyana Mokhele, former ICASA Councillor and long standing broadcasting industry colleague and associate.

Our heartfelt condolences to her beloved family and her community of friends across the ICT industry. We remember her fondly from her monitoring days at the IBA, to working at the DoC and she also spent a short while at the NAB. As an ICASA Councillor she was supportive of the broadcasting sector and attended many of the NAB events. We value the role she played in policy and regulation.

We understand that sadly she had been ill for some time. May the family take comfort knowing that she is at peace. Our thoughts and prayers to all at this difficult time.
